Here, you’ll find wide, easy-to-navigate slopes, minimal queues, and plenty of space for both beginners and more experienced skiers. Alpine skiing
Three ski lifts. Five groomed runs. 400 meters of vertical drop. Endless off-piste possibilities. Our prepared runs are of high quality. There is a children’s slope for the youngest skiers, and trails suitable for everyone from beginners to competitive racers. Jotunheimen Ski Resort has hosted major Telemark and alpine championships several times.
Park
The resort offers perfect facilities for the snowboarding community, with areas suitable for both beginners and experts. There is a dedicated snowboard area and great backcountry opportunities. We also organize snowboard gatherings in collaboration with other partners.
Off-piste skiing
In addition to our excellent groomed slopes, you’ll find fantastic areas for lift-accessed off-piste skiing at Lemonsjøen. Off-piste skiing is available both above and below the treeline, surrounded by a unique high-mountain panorama. Please note that off-piste skiing requires higher skill levels, and skiing outside groomed areas is at your own risk. Always respect avalanche warning signs!
Ski rental
The ski resort offers rental equipment, whether you only need ski boots, a helmet, and poles, or complete packages. We have gear for both alpine skiing and snowboarding! We also offer ski touring equipment and avalanche safety kits for rent or purchase.
Dining
Our cozy ski café, with a kiosk and ski equipment shop, also serves waffles, a variety of baked goods, cold dishes, and hot meals such as freshly baked pizza. For a taste of local cuisine, you can visit Brimi Fjellstugu and Brimiland, just a few minutes from the resort. You can reach Brimi by cross-country ski to enjoy the mountain scenery, or by car if you prefer.
Ski school
Want to make your time on the slopes or in the powder even better? Get the ultimate experience by fine-tuning your skiing or snowboarding skills – or, if you are a beginner who has never tried alpine skiing, you’ll be happy to know that we have experienced instructors who can help you at any level!
